Dry eye study for people who don’t wear contact lenses (Study ID: Turmeric)

What are we trying to learn?

Nutritional omega-3 supplements have been used to maintain good health and manage dry eye disease. This study will investigate the effectiveness of two oral supplements on the improvement of symptoms in dry eye patients. Eligible participants will be given one of two oral nutritional supplements to take once a day for approximately three months.

The supplements provided for this study are a fish oil containing omega-3 or a combined coconut with olive oil supplement. Both supplements are made by Nature’s Way and are approved by Health Canada as Natural Health Products. Both products are infused with citrus flavours.
